Interim reports from ICKLE project published

Date

The ICKLE (Impact of COVID-19 on Key Learning and Education) project tracks the impact of the disruption to schooling during the Covid-19 lockdown. It focuses on children’s progress in key foundation skills from reception to year 1, and analyses how factors related to school, home, and children themselves may affect this development.

Three interim summary reports from the project have been released this week which focus on the first lockdown in Spring 2020, providing insights into schools’ learning provision, caregiver experiences of home learning, and children’s progress during this period.
