Dr Peter Hart and Dr Morgan Campbell (ITS), with Laura Cunliffe and two Laidlaw Scholars (Maria Gerella, Rebecca Hamer) launched an ‘Active Travel Toolkit’. Last summer, they worked with a group of young people from the Kentmere Community Centre to understand the barriers they faced to using active forms of travel. The report has been delivered to Leeds City Council, and the team wrote up their process as a toolkit so that other community organisations can understand more about young people’s perspectives on the local geography and why they choose their particular forms of travel.
